Can a balcony solar system run a no-install split air conditioner?

Not directly. The two balcony batteries in this library each discharge 1,200 W, while the air conditioner’s own maker declares a nameplate ceiling of 1,500 W and 7 A — so the compatibility engine refuses both pairings on continuous output, at 125% of what the battery can supply.
A portable power station is a different answer: 5 of the 14 published EU records here clear the same load outright and 2 come back marginal. How long any of them holds it is a question nobody can answer yet, and what is missing is a duty cycle rather than a battery.

Nothing here states what may be connected at your address. Balcony-generation rules differ by grid operator and by country and are amended frequently; this page names where their text lives and restates no threshold from any of them.
Why these two products end up on the same balcony
Neither product has a US counterpart, and both are bought by the same person: a tenant who may not drill the wall and may not touch the meter cupboard. The air conditioner is a split unit whose indoor and outdoor halves join through a flat hose passing under a closed window — no hole, no installer, no refrigerant work on site. The comparison finishes before the export question is reached. 1,500 W against 1,200 W leaves the balcony battery short by a quarter on the only path that matters — running an appliance in your own flat is a discharge, not an export, and the feed-in ceiling governs the other direction. That distinction is missing from most of the discussion this question generates, and it is why a bigger array fixes nothing.

Every verdict here was decided on the running load, because the quantity that usually decides an air-conditioner verdict exists in no document either maker publishes.
The maker’s German manual carries the most complete electrical table in this library — watts and amps for rated cooling, rated heating and the nameplate ceiling — and nothing at all for the start. The EU product database does not ask split units for it either, so the absence is structural rather than an oversight.

It is an average across a whole season, part-load hours included, which is why the record forbids its use for outage runtime.
Deliberately empty, and deliberately not borrowed. Every cycling figure this library holds for an air conditioner describes a fixed-speed machine that stops and restarts; a variable-speed unit slows down instead, so multiplying its rated watts by a fixed-speed machine’s on-time fraction produces a quantity that does not exist.

Those two figures bracket the truth from opposite sides, and an honest conservative estimate uses the bracket rather than a point inside it. Divide a battery by the nameplate ceiling and you get a floor on the hours: true, and pessimistic by an unknown margin, since the compressor spends most of its life below that ceiling. Divide by the season average instead and the answer flatters you by roughly 4×, because that average already contains every part-load hour of a cooling season. Plan against the floor, and note that a maker’s stated outdoor operating range — not the battery — is what ends the conversation in a real heatwave.
