X-Boost and Power Lifting are the same idea under two brand names: the machine lowers its output voltage so a heating element draws fewer watts, and a load above the inverter’s continuous rating keeps working at reduced power. It is a real feature and it does something real.

Every verdict on this site is computed as though it were not there. One machine here publishes 600 W continuous and a boost figure of 1,500 W; against a kettle drawing exactly 1,500 W our engine still returns a no, decided on continuous output. That is a deliberate choice, and it costs something.

That machine’s boost figure is not withheld and not missing — it is in CONFLICT: two official EcoFlow surfaces give two different numbers for the same US model. We have escalated it and not adjudicated it, so the row shows the conflict rather than picking a side. A specification a manufacturer states twice, differently, is exactly the kind of number a verdict should not rest on.

The cost of that choice is real and worth naming. On 7 of 12 machines here, our verdicts are stricter than the box. Someone who buys on our answer and then finds their kettle boils anyway is not the victim of an error; they have found the margin we chose to keep. The reverse mistake — calling a 600 W inverter a 1,500 W inverter, and being wrong on the one load where the mechanism does not apply — is the one we are not willing to make.

And a verdict column has to mean one thing throughout, which it would not if some rows counted the feature and others did not.
