Two of these manuals publish the distinction explicitly. The Elite 30 V2’s AC charging figure is the charger alone; its socket is rated to 980 W once bypass is counted. The Elite 100 V2’s manual makes the same split, and its charging-plus-bypass ceiling lands on the same number as that machine’s own continuous AC OUTPUT rating — which is worth not misreading as one figure quoted twice. Both are bounded by what an ordinary 120 V branch circuit will carry, which is why the two sides of the machine meet at the same ceiling. So a kettle on the output does not merely add to the total — it takes its share out of the same rated input, and the charger gets what is left. That is the whole mechanism, and it is why a machine that charges in an hour bare can take all evening with a fridge hanging off it.

Does leaving it plugged in wear the battery?
